Prices for backgrounds, accessories and effects can only be decided after you fully inform me of what you want (different aspects can take longer than others depending on the amount of detail).
For backgrounds I charge by the hour, so I can only give an estimate of the price. To ensure you are happy with the artwork I will send a complete sketch and then once payment has been made, I will continue working on the art until it is complete to your desired specification.

I start off with a simple sketch, I sketch in red, green or blue (the primary colours) so that I am able to differentiate it from line-art. With Buildings in particular, I usually make an extra layer for measurements and straight lines in order to ensure accuracy when it comes to the line-art. This also helps me stylise the lines without worrying about loss of quality.
Moving onto colouring, I change the background to a colour that compliments the overall pallet followed by colour tests which help me to decide the final colour pallet. For this image in particular, I chose cool tinted colours to achieve my goal of creating a cold eerie setting despite the playful design. I finish off by rendering, I commonly render with very dark yet saturated colours as well as black.

If a commission is agreed, I can provide (on request and free of charge) a short timelapse or real time video of the artwork being created from start to finish, as well as all 4 stages of the art (sketch, lined, coloured, rendered).

I have a great interest in architecture and enjoy photographing buildings as well as compelling perspectives. I am based in London, UK most commonly photographing London and the South East. I also have a keen interest in travel and have travelled to places such as Paris and New Orleans in the US.
Please consider that I can only provide photos of a limited amount of places and things. I may not have photographs from specific locations or places around the world.
